Install Basic Trucking Driver Systems

There are not separate License, Enforcement or Logbook downloads. Download the single Basic Trucking Driver Systems package. It contains exactly seven required files: four DLLs, two BIN runtime files, and the BasicTruckingEnforcement.scs mod file.

Driver Systems installation is intended for your ATS PC. Open this page on the computer where American Truck Simulator is installed.
DOWNLOAD DRIVER SYSTEMS
OUT OF SERVICE ENFORCEMENT: The Basic Trucking Driver System connects License, Enforcement, Logbook, DOT and Insurance in one driver record. A pull-over warning is shown first. When the warning expires the hold is armed, but the system does not intentionally lock the brakes at highway speed. Slow down and pull over safely; full brake hold applies at a safe low-speed/stopped condition and remains until the active fine/condition is cleared.

Close American Truck Simulator

Fully exit ATS before replacing the Basic Trucking DLLs or the enforcement .scs file.

Download and extract the one package

The package contains all required Basic Trucking driver-system files. Keep every filename unchanged.

Put the DLL and BIN files in the ATS plugins folder

Copy all four supplied .dll files and both supplied .bin files into:

American Truck Simulator\bin\win_x64\plugins

If the plugins folder does not exist, create it.

Put BasicTruckingEnforcement.scs in the ATS mod folder

Copy BasicTruckingEnforcement.scs into:

Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod

The .scs does not go in plugins. The DLLs and BIN files do not go in the mod folder. The BIN files are passive runtime components and are not opened or run by the driver.

Start ATS and join one of our three servers

Restart ATS after installation. The same package powers the Driver License, automatic Enforcement, Logbook/HOS, DOT, Insurance and related driver-system functions.

Simple rule: 4 DLLs + 2 BINs → plugins folder. BasicTruckingEnforcement.scs → mod folder. One download contains all seven files.
