HOW TO CONNECT

Join any Basic Trucking server in minutes. Choose the server that fits your setup, follow its connection steps, and hit the road.

CHOOSE YOUR SERVER

All three Basic Trucking servers are joined from American Truck Simulator through Convoys → Convoy Browser. The only difference is what you need installed before you join.

START AMERICAN TRUCK SIMULATOR

Launch ATS normally. You do not need to download or install a Basic Trucking mod pack for this server.

OPEN THE CONVOY BROWSER

From ATS, open Convoys and then open the Convoy Browser.

SEARCH FOR THE SERVER

Search for the exact server name Basic Trucking.

JOIN AND DRIVE

Select Basic Trucking, join the session, and start driving. No Basic Trucking mods are required.

USE ATS WITH OR WITHOUT YOUR OWN MODS

This server does not require a Basic Trucking mod folder. Compatible personal truck and trailer mods are optional.

OPEN THE CONVOY BROWSER

Launch ATS, open Convoys, and then open the Convoy Browser.

OPEN ADVANCED FILTERS

In the Convoy Browser, open Advanced and turn on both options below so ATS will show the Mods Optional server.

JOIN THE SESSION

Select the server and join. There is no Basic Trucking mod pack to download for this server.

DOWNLOAD THE BASIC TRUCKING MOD FOLDER

Use the current Download Mod Folder button below. Download the files supplied for Server 3.

PUT THE .SCS FILES IN YOUR ATS MOD FOLDER

Place the supplied .scs files in Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod.

SUBSCRIBE TO ALL THREE WORKSHOP MODS

Use the three Steam Workshop buttons below and subscribe to every required item. Let Steam completely finish downloading them before starting ATS.

DO NOT MANUALLY ACTIVATE OR REORDER THE MODS

Do not enable the Server 3 mods in Mod Manager and do not rearrange their load order. The Basic Trucking server activates the required server mods automatically when you join.

OPEN CONVOYS → CONVOY BROWSER

Launch ATS, open Convoys, then open the Convoy Browser. Our three servers are separate sessions:

Search for the exact server name Basic Trucking | Map | FLX | Jon | Hate, select it, and join. ATS will use the server-required mods automatically.

Bring your Basic Trucking driver record into the game.

One Basic Trucking Driver Systems package unlocks your license, enforcement record, logbook, DOT, insurance, and driver profile. Put the included DLL files in American Truck Simulator\bin\win_x64\plugins, and put BasicTruckingEnforcement.scs in Documents\American Truck Simulator\mod.

IMPORTANT — SERVER 3 MODS

The trucks and trailers inside this folder are to be used on our servers and not redistributed.

SERVER 3 LOAD ORDER

You do not manually activate or arrange the required Server 3 mods. Join the server and let ATS use the server-required setup automatically.
