DRIVER—Basic Trucking driver
The real ATS cash balance is the authoritative Basic Trucking Bank balance when BasicTruckingEconomy.dll is connected. Vehicle fines, HOS fines, insurance charges, admin adjustments and Basic Trucking payouts use the same in-game money path.
This is the same server-side driver profile used by the Driver Board, Admin panel and in-game console sync.
Insurance company names are fictional Basic Trucking simulation providers and are not real-world insurance policies. Basic Trucking simulated compliance only. Crash telemetry creates an unfiled insurance incident. The driver must file the claim manually. Filing a claim adds the deductible and affects the simulated insurance score. Claims never create a vehicle hold by themselves.
PRE-TRIP READY
Complete every item before finishing the DVIR. DRIVER CHECK items are manual confirmations. The scale-house system only compares the DVIR against vehicle conditions that ATS telemetry can actually verify.

Complete Pre-Trip to run an inspection. Maintenance-level defects stay open until a later Pre-Trip or scale inspection verifies repair. Out-of-service defects block Trip Ready.

ATS “Weight request” records the summons. “Weigh check” now scans truck/trailer damage plus Pre-Trip, DOT Check-In, log certification, HOS limits, required break status, and unpaid HOS/logbook fines. Mechanical out-of-service findings can create a vehicle hold; logbook findings create citations/warnings only.
